IQ Bible App v1.24 Released
Cross-references and prophecies now show their full text right where you're reading, instead of hiding behind a hover. Plus voice names, a cleaner mobile icon row, and small fixes to last release's link previews.

Cross-references used to hide behind a hover. You’d tap the pill, a tooltip popped up, and you squinted at a verse in tiny type. Or you left the chapter to look it up and lost your place. We rebuilt it.
The reference panel now leads with the verse you’re actually cross-referencing. Below it sits a numbered list, one row per reference, full verse text and all, with the citation sitting off to the right instead of covering the words. The Cross-refs button tells you the count before you open it. No more guessing what’s inside.
We gave Prophecies the same treatment. Each one now carries a number and a title, drawn from its own description, then the scripture in front of you and what fulfilled it. Same layout. The text up top, the citation riding beside it. The header used to read “Prophecies in John 12 (13)”. Now it reads “13 Prophecies in John 12”, and the chapter card wears that same number as a badge. You know what’s waiting before you tap in.
Two panels, one idea. Show the words, not a button that promises them.
Small things, and one voice
The audio voice picker used to name an unnamed narration by its raw internal id, something like eng_kjv_2. It now says “Voice 1”, “Voice 2.” Plain and readable, same as everything else in the player.
On a phone, the row of chapter-context icons (Places, People, Prophecy, Timeline, About) now carries a small title under each one, and the icons spread evenly across the row instead of bunching to the left. You can tell what you’re tapping before you tap it.
The right-rail card sheet’s preview text is now sized to match its place in the layout. It’s smaller than the desktop rail’s own preview. The modals each card opens are unchanged either way.
Carried over from 1.23.1
A few follow-ups to the link-preview cards from last release. A shared verse whose text contains a quotation mark no longer breaks its own card. A link to a verse or chapter that doesn’t exist, past the end of the book, now returns a plain 404 instead of a card with a missing image. A link carrying a translation code the API doesn’t recognize no longer falls back to a preview in the wrong translation.
